At Jopuka, we offer a range of programs designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and foster a love of theatre. Our program offerings may vary from time to time depending on funding opportunities, community needs, and volunteer availability.
We provide a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where young people can develop their skills, explore their creativity, and build lasting friendships through the performing arts.
Active & Creative Kids vouchers can be used towards eligible Jopuka programs. We also offer payment plans, and from time to time scholarships may be available to help ensure our programs remain accessible to as many young people as possible.

Theatrical Productions
Ages 8–24 (show dependent)
Experience the excitement of rehearsing and performing in a theatrical production. Participants build confidence, teamwork and performance skills while making lifelong friendships.

Let's Read
Ages 8–12 & 13-24
Jopuka’s Let’s Read… is a welcoming space for young people to explore scripts, develop performance skills, and connect with other creative minds.
Whether you’re into acting, writing, theatre, or just enjoy discovering great stories, this is a relaxed, supportive environment where you can read, perform, collaborate, and have fun. No experience is necessary—everyone is welcome!

Workshops
Ages 8–24 (depending on the workshop)
Our workshops give young people the opportunity to explore different aspects of theatre and the performing arts. Whether it’s stagecraft, directing, movement, musical theatre, script writing or another creative discipline, each workshop is designed to inspire new skills and spark creativity.
Workshops are offered throughout the year and vary based on availability. Keep an eye on our website and social media for upcoming opportunities.
